a little bit about us
195 suites owner operator Peter Metcalf formed his first post production company in 1989 after working for all the main TV networks in New Zealand. Blue Bicycle Flicks became well respected throughout the New Zealand film and television industry as a friendly and innovative centre for most production / post production needs. They also did a pretty good cup of coffee.
Blue Bike became one of the busiest post houses in New Zealand with branches in Wellington and Auckland.
After years of mananging multiple edit suites and handling hundreds of productions with tight deadlines, Peter decided to concentrate his skills on fewer clients and more interesting projects. So in mid-2007, 195 suites was born.

195 suites is a purposely small operation featuring two Avid suites and a Vegas. We specialise in documentary editing and aim to stay small, reliable, friendly and professional at all times.
We're experts at our craft. With a distinguished background in film editing, Peter has 39 years of experience in all aspects of broadcast post production and has a reputation for doing the job right. He's one of those rare editors who bring a little touch of added magic to every production.
